Amethyst Mountain
Amethyst Cluster • Labradorite
Amethyst allows the wearer to flow in sync with the Divine vibrations of this wondrous gem. It's said to remedy sadness and grief while dissolving negativity. Amethyst activates spiritual awareness, opens intuition and enhances psychic abilities.
In ancient times, Amethyst was known as a "Gem of Fire” because it was thought to hold the energy of fire.
Amethyst embodies the violet ray, otherwise known as the violet flame vibration, which is a high frequency vibration that has the ability to transmute negative vibes into love energy. This is why Amethyst will raise your vibes high! Violet has the highest frequency in the visible spectrum and what is beyond violet is invisible to our human eye. The violet ray is a firey energy that brings passion and emotion, and ignites an inspirational flame within. Vibe high, tribe!
The Eskimo Inuit and the Native American Innu of Labrador, Canada tell a legend about the true origin of Labradorite. It is said in the ancient times that the Aurora Borealis is entombed within the rocks on the shoreline of Labrador. When an Inuit warrior found it, he tried to release it with a spear. But he wasn’t able to free all of them. And that’s the play of lights or labradorescence we see now see in Labradorite gems. The native inhabitants used the gemstone for medicinal purposes as they believed that it would increase their energy as well as reducing feelings of stress and anxiety.
Labradorite enhances perseverance and strength, and assists in spiritual healing, transition and staying strong in the face of adversity. This is the perfect piece to wear anytime, and especially during the Mercury Retrograde.
